WKSA SeOUL SIBLINGS | Culture Show 2019: Fan Dance

The Korean Fan Dance displays elements of nature such as wind, waves, and flowers. While the fan, "buchae", has been a part of Korean history since the Chosun Dynasty, the fan dance, also known as "buchaechum" in Korea, was introduced in 1954 by Kim Baek-bong. Fan dance has since become prevalent and representative of the Korean culture. This modern take on fan dance is performed to "Fox Rain" by Sun Hee Lee.
