Help The Hoople Benefit for guitarist Scott McCaughey, Portland, Oregon-based co-founding member of The Minus 5 and touring member of R.E.M. This sold out performance at Portland's Star Theater includes Jenny Conlee (The Decemberists), Mike Mills and Peter Buck (R.E.M.) and James Mercer (The Shins).
Accomplished guitarist Scott McCaughey suffered a stroke in November 2017 while on tour in San Francisco but was in attendance and performed with Filthy Friends, the Portland supergroup featuring Sleater-Kinney's Corin Tucker and R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck.
