Apertures Explained
In this tutorial, I’m going to explain what is an aperture and its relationship with depth of field. We’ll be working in the aperture priority mode and I’ll set you a task to help you learn how to control apertures and depth of field. Apertures in photography is an essential part of image taking. More importantly, it’s about learning the relationship between the aperture and depth of field. Knowing this will help you create portraits with a blurry background, this is called a shallow depth of field, or it will help you create landscapes with everything sharp from the foreground to the background, this is called a long depth of field.
This is a great aperture tutorial for beginners and I hope it’s explained simply so you can get out there and have a go yourselves!
