Bahamas #1: Cross the Hurricane's Path

This is the first leg in our Bahama's 2018 Island hopping adventure. We depart Aurora, IL (ARR) on our way to Ft. Pierce, FL (FPR). FPR is our staging airport in and out of the country. Hurricane Michael had just made landfall and was in the Georgia/South Carolina area. We had to stay west (behind) the storm on our way and plan our fuel stop to miss airports it may have impacted. We decided over Alabama to go to Williston, FL (X60) to top off.

Williston was a perfect place for us. The people were very nice and friendly (turned out they were fan's of the channel as well). The fuel was cheap and the airport was very well maintained. Thank you guys for a perfect quick stop on our way down to the islands!
