To start our trip off we stayed at Estes Park Colorado, which is at the base of the Rocky Mountain National park. The town is by a beautiful lake with a beautiful view of the mountain range. The town itself has quite a bit of options as far as food, entertainment, and lodging, and we stayed at a campsite right outside of town. The next morning we went straight to the Rocky Mountain National Park. When we went you had to reserve a spot online first, and pay a car fee of $27 dollars. Once you entered you could stay all day with your pass. They give you a map so you can navigate and check out the main spots you want to see. Part of the park was closed due to a snow storm when we went, so we only got to explore half of the park, but still was able to see Bears Lake, The Hidden Valley, and the Tundra, along with many cool sites and overlooks along the way! But the best bang for your buck in my opinion is the National Park, and if you wanted there is campsites that are in the park you could rent!!! Lots of animals and views to see, It is not really in Grizzly territory, so the main thing to fear is the cold!!! Black bears can be scared away easy with loud sounds and making yourself "big". If you have any questions about our trip, or there is something you would like me to expand upon, please let me know in the comments! As always thanks for watching, and be sure to Like, Subscribe, and Share!!!
