Orthodox Christians will take part in the traditional Epiphany bathing ritual in Moscow on Sunday to celebrate the Feast of Epiphany, a day that marks the baptism of Jesus in the Orthodox Church.

Participants in the ritual dip themselves in freezing water three times to honour the Holy Trinity and symbolically wash away their sins
