The DC/Marvel Crossover Returns — But Is It As Good This Time? | Spider-Man/Superman #1 Review

The second DC/Marvel crossover anthology is here — and this time it's Marvel's turn to lead the title. Nine stories. Some genuinely great. Some painfully disappointing. And way too many pep talks.

The highlights? Lana Lang and Gwen Stacy bonding while their boyfriends fight Metallo and Sandman. Superman calming down the Hulk with the Thing watching. Miles Morales rescuing Superman and getting some advice in return. The lowlights? Several stories that squander incredible team-up concepts by having characters stand around and talk without anything actually happening.

Reviewer Tony Parker gives the overall collection a 3 out of 5. We break it all down.
