On The Diet Of Megalosaurus (EPQ Documentary Artefact)

I know it has been a year since uploading anything, but it has been a busy year and I had not gotten much inspiration. This documentary was created as the artefact of my EPQ project, where I used actual research from peer-reviewed articles by people like Roger Benson and Manabu Sakamoto to create a comprehensive look at the eating habits of Megalosaurus bucklandii.

Megalosaurus bucklandii was a large theropod dinosaur from the Mid Jurassic of Oxfordshire, UK. Its main food sources would have been juvenile sauropods and primitive stegosaurs from the deltas and coniferous forests of coastal Britain. It is most likely that its behaviours were reminiscent of an alligator, which would make it more likely to scavenge a variety of food items under pressure, especially beached carrion.

As always, all of the used content is purely for entertainment purposes, as well as all the research used. While I do hope that this can be the basis of an academic thesis, I acknowledge that most of my theories are based on past research done by professionals in the paleontological field and I am merely speculating through basic biological knowledge, so take these theories with a pinch of salt.
