2020 Ford Fiesta Trend EcoBoost IN-Depth Review: It's Got The Engine It Deserves!

Hello guys, and welcome back to Car Obsession. Last year I tested the new Ford Fiesta Trend, and at the time it was only available with the 1.1 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It's not a bad engine per se, but there was a large part of me that was crying out for the award-winning 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine.

It seems as if Ford agree, and now the Blue Oval has decided to offer its new base model with a version of the EcoBoost as well as a 1.5 litre diesel aswell. The EcoBoost in question offers just 95hp, and on paper it looks rather sluggish as it takes almost 14 seconds to crawl 62mph, so does that mean the Trend lacks the 'fizz' that its stablemates have become well known for?
