Form Validation in React JS from Scratch (Using Hooks, Functional Components and Best Practices)

In this video, we have seen how to perform form validation in reactjs using useState() hook.

We start with creating a simple form and gradually proceed to isolating components from business logic. You can use this technique for bigger projects as well. It helps you maintain consistency across the platform.

Next we proceed with using useState() hook. Concept of using initial state along with how to control and update input elements of the form have been explained.

Post using hooks, we have seen how to validate form. We are using another state variable for maintaining form errors. You can even maintain these in redux states.

Finally we have seen how to disable form elements while form is processing.
