FAQ About Fake Flash USB Drives (Scam 2TB USB on Wish, Ebay, etc)

A while ago, I made a video in which I tested a fake 2TB USB drive. It attracted quite a lot of views and not a few comments.

Some of the common themes from those comments are addressed here.

***** IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS *****
If you have bought a USB flash media such as a USB drive or SD card from Wish, eBay or other marketplaces, and the capacity is 512gb or more, and the price was less than hundreds of dollars/pounds, YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED.

The media may look like it has the advertised capacity when you plug it in, but this is fake. The device has been altered to misreport its capacity to your computer (or other devices). Your data is at risk if you use these devices.
