「大會堂樂萃」系列：「筠管參差 聲韻和諧」盧思泓笙演奏會 “City Hall Virtuosi” Series: Sheng Recital by Loo Sze-wang

《炫》（2018）為盧思泓的新作品，此曲與慣常創作手法背道而行，並不刻意加入現代元素，亦不運用現代國樂著意表達的寛廣音域。反之，作者從傳統笙的運指、音色及技法等方面著墨，使用樂器最擅長的有效音域。樂曲僅以蓮花板伴奏，兩者時有配合，亦不失個性。
In Loo' Sze-wang's new work 'Dazzle', he seeks to bypass most of the modern compositional conventions and procedures, and returns to techniques, timbres, and melodic ranges that are most idiomatic to the sheng. As the sole accompanying instrument, the lotus clappers serve to accentuate the sheng melody without losing sight of its own idiosyncrasies.
