‘He’s right’: Macron calls for international coalition to fight Hamas
French President Emmanuel Macron is right to call for an international coalition to fight Hamas, says Strategic Analysis Australia director Michael Shoebridge.
He said the French President is making a “fundamentally important” point.
“The world has looked at Hamas in the wrong way,” Mr Shoebridge told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“We thought that they may be more interested in governing Gaza than being the brutal terrorist outfit they have revealed themselves to be.
“That mindset, to really understand what Hamas is, is what Macron was saying we all need to adopt.”
