How I Do Phase 3 As A Sword and Shield Lead for Fatalis

This is how I usually perform Phase 3 against Fatalis if I lead in hunts or do my solo runs with Sword and Shield. It’s a technical optimized path, though there’s things that can be adjusted. First to mind is grabbing the second binder later than when I do it here. You could likely fit in an extra attack/swing in the time it takes for me to grab the second binder. Better to grab it after firing the Ballista during the Phase 4 transition.

Ideally you’d want the head of Fatalis to help push your character to fall off the ledge, which is possible, but what happens in the clips still very much works. Takes some practice, but do what works for you!
