My First Casein Painting

Watch me paint my first casein painting in this video. Normally my channel deals with oil painting, but I thought I would experiment with a new medium by using casein paint. I've done water based mediums before, so I had some brushes left from those days and bought other brushes and paints a few weeks ago. I was inspired to try this a sketch medium after watching James Gurney's videos. I'm hoping to take them out when the weather warms up and try some plein air. I do like the matte finish on the painting after it dries. Still tons to learn, but am having fun. I wasn't after great draftsmanship, etc. I was only concerned with learning how the paint mixes, dries, etc.
