Israel preparing for the worst-case scenarios amid war in Middle East
Israeli doctors are preparing for the war in the Middle East to escalate and become much worse.
Reporter Dominic was shown around a bunker below the Herzog Medical Centre in Jerusalem where doctors are preparing for the worst.
In the last few months, the number of beds has been increased to 350 beds with more to come.
Extending the wards by another level underground to be ready for worst-case scenarios like an all-out war with Hezbollah should it come.
"Because it's built to withstand both biological and chemical attacks," Dr Yehezkel Caine.
"We have an airlock which is built of two separate sets of blast doors," he said.
