Re-pot Calathea Ornata (dry, clumpy soil)

My calathea was struggling for growth. The original soil it came in had badly clumped. There was no room for the roots to spread and when I water it, the soil doesn’t hold water in well anymore. So in this video I showed how I untangle the roots from the clumpy soil.

I got a coco peat soil with some perlite and vermiculite for extra aeration. I mixed 2 parts soil, 1 part vermiculite. Anyway, the plant looks much happier in the new soil and after I took out the clumps from the roots! I’ll look for time to post an update on my calathea.
