Parallel Compression on Drums

In this video I introduce parallel processing and show you how to parallel compress your drum bus. This is a style of compression that aims to reduce the dynamic range on the parallel track, whilst maintaining the transients and and dynamic range on your original track. The overall mix is thicker, fuller, punchier and brighter. A wonderful mixing technique.
