After the grant of Asylum or refugee status what is next
After the grant of asylum, you have to apply for a means of identification, that is the collection of documents that would enable you to apply for the identification.
I went through a social service organization called IRC, but there are four organizations that can help you through this process, there is catholic charities, CAMBA and HIAS, you will be awarded a marching grant. This grant helps you to start a life in a new country.
These organizations provide a case manager, this person will help you apply for documents such
• Social security card
• Employment authorization card
• State ID or non-drive licenses from Department of motor vehicle
Job application or job hunting they guild you to the job application process, for non-educated foreigners you can start with an entry level job but if you have a graduate degree from a foreign country you can apply for an update of your transcript through World Education Services called WES or Upwardly global who can help you find jobs because you have a college degree from a foreign country. There are also training from CAMBA and culinary cooking programs, you too can also look for a job through the city library and you can get clothes through dress for success for free.

Employment opportunities for New Immigrant in New York city
When I arrived in New York city, I was wondering how I can get a job, this is one of the most difficult and tasking responsibilities for new immigrants, like how do I start over and find my feet again.
If you have a college degree from a foreign country you can update it to U.S standard through WES, which stand for world Education services, a link to their website can be found below.
