The Ukrainian army continues to prevent Russian operations with UAVs. The Russian army is organising numerous operations on Ukrainian territory with long-range missiles and UAVs.
Russian forces organised an attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region with combat drones yesterday evening. According to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration, the Air Defence Forces successfully destroyed 7 UAVs.
"Seven enemy UAVs were destroyed in the region today in the evening," the statement said. The head of the regional military administration added that the enemy targets were shot down in the Dniprovsky and Nikopol regions. The Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of Russian use of ballistic weapons. During the air raid alert, the public was urged to take care of their own safety and seek shelter.
Since the beginning of the war, the Ukrainian army has destroyed 6,811 Russian drones. In the first week of 2024, more than 150 Russian drones were destroyed by the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
