As we understand and break down race as a social construct that limits Black and POCs, Critical Race Theory, or CRT takes a deeper look into how race informs decisions, shapes policy, and drives discrimination. Recently, policy makers have considered adding it to the curriculum for primary and secondary education, however there have been many mixed opinions about whether or not this is appropriate.
