Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeking community input on AI guidelines

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools’ proposed artificial intelligence policy is still in draft form, but on Tuesday, Oct. 14, the CMS Board of Education is holding a public hearing to gather input from the community before moving forward.

The district says the goal of the AI policy is to enhance learning — not replace human creativity, critical thinking, or decision-making.
