Waushakum Live Steamers Rainy Run 7.17 2020 (Little Engines Pacific 311, Old Atlantic 835)

Hey everybody!

Here's a short video I've thrown together of a solo Friday run up at the track. Quarantine has inspired plenty of work on these locos the last few months, and it's been a pleasure to spend more time with them than usual.

My Pacific, 311, has been a work in progress since 2010, finally hitting her stride the last two years... Huge thanks to Colt Stewart for all the time & expertise along the way. This year's project was piping in a steam water duplex pump, lubricator, and a whistle from Reeves - it's the large 7-1/4" one if you like the sound.

My Atlantic, 835, underwent a massive overhaul from 2015-2017. The original boiler was rotted through, all the piping was replaced, all new water feed, and just needs new rings on the piston valves for the finishing touch. Boiler by Dario C in MA makes steam like there's no tomorrow.
