RESCUE PIGS get a visit from the ANIMAL CRACKER! (Ep. 3)

Reagan an Russell are the first pigs in this video. "Rescued from a factory farm in Iowa, Reagan and Russell, took two flights and a 24 hour car ride to arrive safely with the loving team and new home at Arthur's Acre Animal Sanctuary.

"We worked with my friend John at PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), to coordinate with a farmer in Iowa who agreed to surrender two piglets." (described by Todd, the owner of Arthur's Acre's Animal Sanctuary)

"The farmer breeds 150,000 pigs a year and houses 3,000 breeding sows for slaughter, so we are lucky to have rescued the two that we did."

"John did this rescue in memory of the animal rights activist Regan Russel, who unfortunately just lost her life when she was run over by a transport truck taking pigs to slaughter. She was a long time activist and was there comforting pigs as they were driven to the end of their short lives ."

Max, is the next part of this video. He fell off a transport truck . A couple was driving and saw something dart across the road . They had no idea what it was so they pulled over and little Max ran up to them sick and hungry .

"We were able to track down the farmer and they agreed to surrender him because they did not want to care or pay the medical bills for a sick baby . Now Max will live the rest of his wonderful life at Arthur’s Acres!" (as described by, Todd, the owner of the Arthur's Acre Animal Sanctuary)
