The 1000-lb Sisters, Amy and Tammy Slaton, were once loved by their audience for their wholesome family bond. Over the years, this reputation has deteriorated dramatically following controversy after controversy. They started with dog abuse and scummy behaviour but eventually peaked after the sisters scammed hundreds with a GoFundMe funeral. Amy Slaton and her sister Tammy Slaton have received massive amounts of hate in the process, yet have still managed to maintain somewhat of a successful career after their show "1000-lb sisters" took off.
