Count on Me, Singapore - Benjamin Kheng & Singapore Symphony Orchestra

A song that a nation chooses to sing and sing again through the years is proof that it has taken root as a song of its people, a national song. "Count On Me, Singapore" (1986) is the second of three Singapore national songs, alongside "Stand Up For Singapore" (1984) and "We are Singapore" (1987), introduced in the 1980s, which have since attained classic status among Singaporeans and remain beloved staples of what we now call National Day or NDP songs.

No dream's too bold that we can't try for. As your national orchestra, the Singapore Symphony will do its part together with you, fellow Singaporeans - to show the world what Singapore can be. Count on me, Singapore! Happy 55th birthday! #TogetherStrongerSG
