MY EASIEST CURLY HAIR REFRESH TIP EVER😲🫶🏻

Steam, which I refer to as “controlled humidity when you want it” is my favourite way to revive my curls by adding MOISTURE 💦 but WITHOUT wetting down my hair! When I use this method to refresh, my hair instantly softens and my curls wake up in BLOOM 🌸 !

You can see all the volume it adds to my hair. This saves me time plus takes unnecessary stress off my strands. Saturating our hair in water every day leads to cuticle damage and hygral fatigue, which increases the porosity of the hair, causes split ends and breakage over time... hence why it’s not a good idea to wash your hair every day (if you can avoid it!)

If you have a facial steamer, turn that on and direct the steam into your hair for a couple minutes; I like to do 1-2 minutes on each side of my head and fluff out the root while doing this. The hair will start to expand as it absorbs some of that hydration.

I recommend following up this method with a hair oil/serum to lock in the hydration and add some shine as needed, or finish with some texture spray to hold all that delicious volume.
