I LOST MY JOB BECAUSE OF COVID 19 | FLIGHT ATTENDANT/ CABIN CREW | Let's Unpack + Getting Emotional

Hey guys, I just lost my job as a flight attendant because of Covid-19 and I thought I'd open up to you about it as I unpack my luggage and get ready to put it aside for now... 😭

When I began my career as a flight attendant, I never imagined this day would ever come, that this childhood dream would be taken away from me in a drop of a virus; without me being prepared for it. I am still hurting, and though I've predicted that I would be one of those to be retrenched this year when the airline announced possible retrenchment since February, I was still in denial. I kept hoping and praying that with me volunteering to fly during the pandemic and risking my own health, I would at least be given performance consideration, especially since I never missed any flight assignment & was never late during my tenure.

Unfortunately, the policy of last in first out always prevails. Nevertheless, I am grateful that even though working my dream job was cut short, Cebu Pacific still took the chance to hire me last March 2019 and they helped me fulfil this life-long dream. For that, I will always be grateful.
