Saudi Arabia Pavilion at Expo Shanghai 2010 "The Treasure" Giant 1600 square meter Screen
At the Saudi Arabia Pavilion is a giant-screen show called The Treasure. Sky-Skan Europe installed 25 projectors, 2.5 miles of cables, and the result is a 35 million pixel screen that's 1,600 square meters (17,000 square feet). The system is run with Sky-Skan's DigitalSky software and Definiti graphics computers. Sky-Skan worked with GPD S.A. of Spain on the project.
Visitors typically wait in line for several hours to see the pavilion. The 4 millionth visitor recently was awarded a trip to Saudi Arabia, and approaching 5 million visitors are expected for the total of the 6-month Expo. Saudi Arabia's pavilion is consistently voted among the top with visitors.
