Inspired by historic personalities and situations, which long fell victim to collective oblivion, the band from Bern explores the darkroom of political emancipation and asks into an empty room, why
standstill was chosen as muse of our era.

Musically Patrick Bishop manifest a new self-confidence: driving war-drums must inevitably pave the way, bell-brightly guitars being put in place by dark and foreboding cello sounds, while amorous synth and hangdrums are searching alternative melodies.

Above everything heavy churchorgans and layered Vocals – choral sounds between devotion and despair – foreshadowing the own failure.

The birth of tragedy from the spirit of music.

The EP displays how Patrick Bishop requires Pop music to be. The band produced it on their own, while being secluded in a swiss mountain hut, an old hotel named “Beau Séjour” or deep in the catacombs of the cemetary of Bremgarten. The songs demonstrate diremption, confusion and dedication of the creative work by the sextet. At the forefront are the song, the sound and the lyrics. Without external pressure but in front of empty walls and on groaning wooden floorboards five songs were being developed, which unmask the band as scientists, accomplices and dreamers.
