Description:
"The Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) is a provision under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) law, where the recipient of goods or services is liable to pay GST instead of the supplier. This mechanism is applicable in specific cases, such as:
- Goods or services supplied by an unregistered person to a registered person.
- Goods or services supplied by a registered person to a registered person, where the recipient is liable to pay tax under RCM.
Under RCM, the recipient is required to pay GST on the inward supply of goods or services and claim input tax credit (ITC) for the same."

Note:
