Enable Batch-wise Details:
Before you can use Batch-wise Details, you need to enable this feature in Tally Prime.
Go to Gateway of Tally -F11 (Features)- Inventory Features.
Set "Maintain Batch-wise Details" to "Yes."

Create Stock Items:
Go to Gateway of Tally - Inventory Info - Stock Items.
Create or edit the stock items for which you want to maintain batch-wise details.
While creating/editing the stock item, enable the "Maintain Batch-wise Details" option and save.

Purchase Entry with Batch-wise Details:
Go to Gateway of Tally - Accounting Vouchers - F9 (Purchase).
Enter the purchase details as usual (supplier, date, etc.).
In the item details section, select the stock item for which you want to record batch-wise details.
Tally will prompt you to enter batch details such as Batch Name, Mfg. Date, Expiry Date, and Quantity. Enter this information for each batch.
Complete the purchase entry.

Sales Entry with Batch-wise Details:
Go to Gateway of Tally - Accounting Vouchers - F8 (Sales).
Enter the sales details as usual (customer, date, etc.).
In the item details section, select the stock item for which you want to sell with batch-wise details.
Tally will prompt you to select the batch or lot number for the items you are selling.
Enter the quantity for each batch being sold.
Complete the sales entry.

View Batch-wise Reports:
To view batch-wise reports and track the movement of items, go to Gateway of Tally - Display - Inventory Books.
You can select options like "Batch-wise Vouchers" or "Batch-wise Stock Summary" to see detailed batch information.

Batch-wise Alteration and Deletion:
If you need to edit or delete a batch, you can do so in the Batch-wise Vouchers report. Be cautious when making changes, as this may impact your inventory records.

Stock Summary with Batch Details:
To view the stock summary with batch details, go to Gateway of Tally - Display - Inventory Books - Stock Summary.
You can drill down into a particular stock item to see its batch-wise details.
