High Density Backyard Fruit Growing: In Ground & In Containers

Using the method's Dave Wilson Nursery made popular I have taken high density in ground plantings of fruit trees further to containers. With roughly 5 gallons of soil worth of growing space pomes and stone fruit trees do wonderful in containers.

Be sure to prune the center, select similar rootstocks preferably dwarfed & trees of similar fruiting/growing nature and you'll do better than expected. A great alternative to those that can't graft & a great way to achieve better pollination.
