Oxygen Sensor Replacement Toyota 2AZ-FE 2.4L/ Bank 1 Sensor 1
In this video I go over the removal and installation of the bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor of a Toyota 2AZ-FE engine. The particular vehicle featured in the video is a 2005 Scion TC. However, Toyota has used this engine for several years on many of their models. So, this information, I am assuming, may apply to those vehicles as well. However, there may be some differences. (Always verify any and all information shared in this video is applicable to the vehicle your are working on. )
Special Note: Some applications may require that the threads and mating surface where the O2 sensor screws in be cleaned. If your mating surface and threads are dirty please clean them with a wire brush prior to installing the sensor.
Note: Ensure that there are not exhaust leaks around the newly installed O2 sensor.
Here is a Wikipedia article on the 2AZ-FE engine:

Here is a link to the "special" O2 sensor socket. Note: This is not the same tool shown in video. It has a 1/2" ratchet receptacle rather than a 3/8" receptacle:
