The XJ series of the Jeep Cherokee arrived in the eighties and was an incredibly successful model for Chrysler and it was was originally marketed as a Sportswagon, effectively making it the world's first Sports Utility Vehicle. This review features the exclusive 4.0litre Wagoneer Limited version and was one of the first Cherokees to arrive in Europe in 1988.
