Teaching a Very Forward Eventer to Slow Off Your Seat with No Bridle
Lately in videos I've been on about only asking your horse "yes' questions, only asking things that your horse can say "yes, I can do that" to.
In this video I show footage from a clinic in England in 2015 where in the space of 2 days, I helped a young lady with an eventer who tends to be very forward get him to the point where we take off the bridle, and ride him at a walk, trot and canter AND slow to a stop from her seat at the canter, the first time we try it. This video illustrates how finding a good starting point, or creating one, and ensuring the basics work perfectly, is the key to success with any endeavor with horses.
Warwick has hundreds of full length training videos filmed with REAL horses, REAL people, REAL problems in REAL time on his online video library.
