THE COVE JERVIS BAY - A COMPLETE WEEKEND TRAVEL GUIDE! (4k ULTRA HD)

Spending an amazing weekend away at THE COVE JERVIS BAY!! Welcome to KANGAROO LIVING!! This was an amazing weekend trip. This is Part 2 of our journey. Our journey began with a sky dive in Wollongong with SKYDIVE Australia. We then travelled down to The Cove which is located deep within Booderee National Park (Literally DEEP, it took 30 minutes to drive the off track road to it!!). We stayed using the glamping package which gave us a beautiful Teepee type tent that even had a double bed in it!!

The facilities at The Cove were amazing, hot water, fully stocked kitchen (BRING OWN FOOD AND DRINK) with all the utensils you could need. There were BBQ areas dotted around the camp. We used the BBQ's at the kitchen side beside the tents.

The Kangaroo's were AMAZING!! They are so friendly, you can literally rub noses with them!! :) When the weather is good you have free access to paddle boards, kayaks and other water activities.

We then ventured to Huskisson where we had coffee at Nutmeg and lunch at the 5 Little Pigs. The food was amazing and was not expensive at all!!

We then moved to Hyam's (Hyams) beach. This has some of the whitest sand in the world. It was amazing!! Had to get some drone shots here of course!!

Itinerary Overview:

First Day:
1) Skydive Wollongong at 10am
2) Drive to The Cove - 2/2.5 hours (There is a Woolworths very close before you enter the national park - grab supplies here as it is quite far to drive back and fourth!!)
3) Spent rest of the day eating/drinking

Next Day:
1) Drive to Cave Beach
2) Drive to Murrays Beach
3) Travel to Huskisson for Lunch
4) Travel back to The Cove for an evening of board games, food and drink
5) Travel back to Sydney 3.5 hours

Notes:
1) Watch out for the weather, it impacted us some what with not being able to use the water sports equipment
2) Tents were very clean, shake off clothes before getting into the tent as insects/bugs will latch on from the ground
3) Buy plenty of food/drink so you dont have to travel multiple times, its a 30 min drive to the main road from The Cove
4) ON THE DRIVE - The road is very bumpy and had lots of potholes.... be careful and take it easy!!
5) The staff are AMAZING!! Couldn't rate high enough!!
6) This will be one of the BEST experiences of your life in Australia!!!
