In what appears to be an attempt to stay true to its anti-2nd Amendment position, New York has also decided to keep in place a policy that makes all Americans defenseless when visiting New York. New York does not honor ANY other State’s handgun permits, effectively putting 94% of the American population at risk as soon as they step foot over the New York border.

Gun Owners of America and Gun Owners Foundation have filed a federal lawsuit in the northern district of New York to challenge the unconstitutional and dangerous blanket ban on self-defense in New York State.
