Ford Explorer Camper Conversion

This was a quirky little project. For a quick or spontaneous camping trip down to the ocean I designed a non-permanent conversion. My main priority was that the build had to be easy to remove to haul kids or family. The seats can be bolted back in in less than 30 minutes and the bed and camping cabinet can also be simply pulled out. No sewing was needed for the cushions and the camping storage box was built with inexpensive wood from the local hardware store. I have some other mods in mind as we approach summer. Stay tuned...
