Dress-Up Doll Crochet Along:
Step 5 Face (E-Eyebrows 4)

Developing a tutorial for the crochet dress up doll

Join me in a crochet along as I work on it

MATERIAL:
-.60 MM HOOK
-3 STRANDS OF EMBROIDERY (in both white & skin colour)
-Polyester stuffing

Step 1 : make the head (rows 1-37b)
-see previous video

Step 2 : make the arms (2) -see previous video

Step 3: make the legs (2) -see previous video

Step 4: make the body

Step 5: embroider the face

A-Ears: see previous video

B-Ears: see previous video

C-Nose: see previous video

D-Eyelids/Eyelashes: see previous video

E-Eyebrows:
-Push needle up into the eyebrow position, on row 14 & 3 stitches to the outsid eye
-Insert needle 2 rows up (row 14) & 5 stitches over (2 from inside eye)
-Repeat this for the 2nd eyebrow (but start at the bottom)
-Repeat process a few times to thicken brows
-Adjust with needle as needed
-You can add a stitch in the eyebrow to shape it or to bring the threads together more neatly
-Push needle to the back of head & pull to tighten
-Do the same for 2nd tail
-Pull tight (to indent eyes a bit), make a knot, cut tails & pull through into head.

*please note you may have extra stitches after *repeats* rows. Single crochet these. You should still end up with the same number of stitches in the ()
