SNP ‘s Nicola Sturgeon has reacted to a statement that Scotland has “finally caught up” with the rest of the UK by shaking her head in fury, claiming that the only reason Scotland was behind in the Covid vaccine rollout was because of their targeting method rather than a lack of pace or organization.
She also gave an answer to her view of the UK’s efforts exceeding the EU after the pair continued to wrangle over the AstraZeneca and Pfizer distribution row.
It comes as the Brexit trade deal comes into effect after months of wrangling over state aid, fisheries and the so called level playing field.
The deal was given a green light by both United Kingdom and European Union Parliaments after Prime Minister Boris Johnson and EU chiefs such as European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron agreed to the terms of the deal in order to avoid a no deal Brexit.
