Rat Rations; Part One, Food.

The little weevils that can sometimes be found in grains are perfectly harmless to your rats and can add extra protein to the diet.
If you scramble eggs for your rats make sure the eggs are very fresh that they are thoroughly cooked and do not add salt, milk or butter. Always prepare cooked food freshly each time you want to use them. Make sure they are cooled before feeding and remove any uneaten food within one hour of cooking, sooner on a hot day to prevent food poisoning.
