While wandering the streets of Osaka, we stumbled upon a quirky plant swaying playfully in the breeze—it's called “Shrimp Flower”! Its layered petals looked so much like cooked shrimp that it made me crave real food.

So we went for donuts instead.
We love donut is hidden inside Whity Umeda underground mall—just a few turns from the subway station. The towering donut display caught our eyes right away.

Nama Donuts have become super popular in Japan in recent years. These half-chilled, fluffy treats are totally different from the traditional deep-fried American kind. They're soft, milky, and melt in your mouth.

I picked the one stuffed with mashed potato and prosciutto; Mr. E went for the caramel biscuit flavor. A cup of coffee and a donut break was just what we needed after all that walking!
