James Hetfield does.
And in this video I want to show you that quickly.

If you want to play like James, you should play like James 😉

So first you need your 3 fingers.
You take it between your thumb and forefinger and bend it with your middle finger so that you have the pick really firmly in your fingers. Now you just have to get used to it. Unfortunately, it takes a while... I didn't do it that way back then either... You just have to play with this technique as often as possible now. It's hard at first but it will be worth it.
