The new Sharing Economy is here to stay, from sharing cars, dresses, books and even our homes. AirBnb, vrbo and others are putting people in a place to make extra money on houses even if they don’t own them. Today, I’d like to share with you my personal experiences and thoughts plus how much we’ve made from being an AirBnB host for just over 2 months.
Boy I have learned a lot and in this video, I’ll show my 5 top things that will help you make more money operating your short term rental as well. I’m going to show you the back office of my Airbnb website and how the money is paid out, I’ll show you my calendar and we’ll discuss some of my monthly expenses so you’ll see how it breaks down compared to doing a conventional rental. This is truly a business, so I've learned, and it needs to be treated as such. Our guests are the backbone to our success and there are tons of little things we must remember that are extremely different from ordinary rentals.
