100 Great Scottish Pubs The Globe Inn

The Globe inn is a great traditional working mans pub. it has a lot of history, especially with the poet Robert Burns. It has a lot of original features from the time of Robert Burns including 'the speakers chair', now called 'the poets chair' and words scratched into pains of glass by the man himself - which are in a room upstairs.

The modern part of the pub serves basic pub food and gives a warm welcome, but if you are looking for something a little more fancy then you are in the wrong place.
