A 15 Year Old Kid CRASHED This Plane!

Aeroflot Flight 593 was a scheduled international passenger flight from Moscow, Russia, to Hong Kong. On March 23, 1994, the aircraft, an Airbus A310-304, went down in the Kuznetsk Alatau mountain range in southern Siberia. All 75 individuals on board, including 63 passengers and 12 crew members, were lost in the accident.

The event occurred after the captain allowed his two children into the cockpit during the flight. His 15-year-old son, Eldar Kudrinsky, was permitted to sit in the captain's seat and briefly interact with the controls. During this time, he unintentionally disengaged part of the autopilot system, which transferred manual control of the aircraft’s roll without the crew’s immediate awareness.

As the aircraft slowly banked, it reached a critical angle. By the time the crew realized what had happened and attempted to recover, the aircraft had entered a descent that could not be corrected in time. It subsequently impacted the terrain.

The investigation identified serious deviations from standard cockpit procedures. The cockpit voice recorder confirmed the presence of the children and documented the crew's efforts to address the situation. This incident led to widespread changes in aviation regulations, particularly those related to flight deck access and crew conduct.
