MTA Maryland: Cummins ISB 6.7L & BAE "200 Series" HybriDrive -- ENGINE SHUT-OFF SEQUENCE!
This is one of only ten (13041--13050) units to house the BAE Systems "200 Series" HybridDrive system with an automatic engine shut-off/on sequence while on idle to preserve more fuel and lower emissions even more. Seen here is #13045 going though the process twice while idling in busy rush-hour traffic.
All ten of these buses can only be found on "Kirk Avenue Division" routes.
