PM Modi pays tribute to India's martyrs at the National War Memorial

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday morning visited National War Memorial and paid tribute to India's martyrs before taking oath as the prime minister for the second consecutive term today. Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman also joined PM Modi and other BJP leaders at the memorial. Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, Navy Chief Admiral Sunil Lanba and Vice Chief of Air Force Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria were also present. PM Modi is set to take oath of office for the second time in a row at 7:00 PM on Thursday. The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan, attended by nearly 8,000 guests, including foreign dignitaries and chief ministers and governors.
