The Lost Flamborough Lifeboat Documentary (1992-1993) RNLI Heroes

The Lost Flamborough Lifeboat Documentary. A massive Slice of recent Flamborough History that many may not have seen and others will never forget. Many village Legends feature on this video - some sadly no longer with us but their characters are preserved here for eternity. A community split on a decision that would change lives and of course save others.
The loss of the Legendary Oakley Class Will and Fanny Kirkby Lifeboat from North Landing to be replaced with an inshore Atlantic 21 inflatable craft rocked the village and emotions were high as Flamboroughs focus has always been its Lifeboat and her crew.

We have sound corrected and enhanced this Award winning Documentary from ITVs Calendar Circa 1993, orginally on VHS there is a slight hiss.
Its a trip down memory lane like no other. I had this on file and felt for future generations its better off out there for people to watch.

I do not own this footage and if it is a breach of copyright I will gladly take it down. It is not currently curated or accessible for people which is why I have decided to do it on Youtube.
